Following communication received by Hampshire County FA this afternoon, we have received confirmation of our Russell Cotes Benevolent Cup Semi-Final opponents.

We have been drawn to face uhlsport Hampshire Premier League Senior Division side Locks Heath at Westleigh Park. The tie is scheduled to take place on Wednesday 5th March 2025, KO 19:45.

Our opponents currently sit 2nd in the league and have made it to the Semi Final stage of the competition defeating higher league opponents in every round so far. In Round 1, they defeated Wessex League Premier Division side Hythe and Dibden 4-2 on spot kicks after a 2-2 draw at the end of 90 minutes. Just over a month later, a trip to Westleigh Park in Round 2 saw Locks Heath take on Clanfield, a game they won 4-1. In the Quarter-Final, a second consecutive Wessex League Division One opponent awiated in the form of Romsey Town. After a 2-2 draw at the end of the game, a 5-4 victory on spot kicks saw Locks Heath progress to this stage.

The Hawks have had a shorter run in the competition but this Semi-Final is the first time that we’ve been drawn at home in the competition. After a BYE in Round 1, a trip to The Brickability Group Stadium saw us face Fawley AFC in Round 2 where we secured a 2-1 win. A trip to AFC Portchester in the Quarter-Finals saw us secure a 3-1 win to book our spot in the Semi-Final.
