Biography

Goddard, 18, is a very promising product of the Hawks Player Pathway and is a part of the Academy set-up at the club whilst also being involved in a First Team setting. Joe has been in and around the Hawks First Team for some time now having featured for the Hawks sporadically over the last couple of Seasons, predominantly in cup football. He made his Senior debut against Horndean in the Hampshire Senior Cup in September 2024 where he impressed off the bench, showing what he is capable of. Joe spent a period of 24/25 dual registered with Combined Counties Premier Division South side Alton FC and Wessex Premier Division side Baffins Milton Rovers whilst making 3 senior appearances in cup competitions for the Hawks. Joe made his Southern League debut in August 2025, starting against Evesham United in a 1-0 victory away from home where he played the full game. Now Joe has linked up with Isthmian South Central Division side Horndean in a bid to secure regular minutes in Senior football to aid his development whilst also being available to the Hawks when required.
