Havant and Waterlooville Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of Defender, Jamar Smith

Smith, 25, played in the Reading Academy during his younger years where he won Caps for Jamaica at  Under 17’s level before making a move to Didcot Town for the 2022/23 Season. Jamar was a part of the team that won promotion in a Play-Off final against Ware as they secured a 1-0 win. Promotion Play-Off success continued for Jamar as he signed for Salisbury in 23/24 and was a part of the side that defeated AFC Totton in the Southern League Premier Division South Play-Off final in 2024. A move to Poole Town would follow for Jamar for the start of 24/25 before he made the switch to Gosport Borough. This move would be short lived as he returned to Poole Town to re-unite with the Gosport Borough management team that made the switch to The Dolphins. At the start of the 25/26 Season Jamar joined Evesham United but now has joined the Hawks seeing his return to the south coast.
