Havant and Waterlooville Football Club can confirm the departure of Club Captain Joe McNerney following the end of his current contract with the Hawks.

McNerney, 35, signed for the Hawks in Summer 2023 having made 63 appearances in all competitions across the past two seasons. Joe was appointed Club Captain by Shaun North as he started his tenure as Head Coach of the club. Joe has played a vital role in the First Team throughout his time with the Hawks and has been a leader on and off the pitch.
