Havant and Waterlooville Football Club can confirm that Callum Kealy will depart the club following the end of his contract with the Hawks.

Hawks Head Coach Shaun North explained the situation that has led to Callum departing “Unfortunately for us, Callum will be moving back home to Australia so is unable to continue his time with us at the Hawks. The dedication I’ve seen from Cal since coming into the club last summer has been excellent and I’m disappointed to be losing him. In other circumstances, I’d love to have him continue with us but we all support his choice to return home and wish him nothing but the best for his next chapter. I speak on behalf of all of us at the club when I wish to thank Callum for all his efforts whilst with the Hawks!”

Kealy, 26, has been an integral part of the club across his two spells after initially signing from Worthing in February 2023. A short spell at Eastbourne was ended with a return to the Hawks in January 2025 where he has played his trade ever since. Cal has 91 appearances in Hawks colours with 16 goals in that time. After the 24/25 campaign, Callum finished with the 3rd most appearances of the squad and was recognised in our End of Season awards as he finished joint 2nd in our Supporters Player of the Year vote.

Speaking on his time with the Hawks Callum said “Thanks to all the boys, staff, fans and people at the club. I’ve loved playing for Havant the last few seasons and will always support the boys and club in the future.”

Whilst we are disappointed to be losing Callum, we wish him the very best for his time back in Australia and hope to see him back at Westleigh Park again in the future!
