Havant and Waterlooville Football Club can confirm the departure of Ross Betteridge.

Ross has been associated with the Football Club for over 15 years, having worked across a number of roles within the structure of the club. He has played a large role in the Community work the club prides itself on in his time with the Hawks, helping build many projects to where they are today. Ross was a part of the Interim Management Team that took over in December 2023 and was then appointed as a First Team Coach when Shaun North took over in May 2024 whilst also working within our Under 23’s and Academy set-ups in recent times.

General Manager Gary Pratt commented on Ross’ departure from the club saying “Ross has been a pleasure to have worked with in recent years, he has pioneered a vast amount of work in our Community outreach and has always tackled tasks head on. The work that Ross has been doing for some time has flown under the radar but the recent roles he has held with the First Team have been testament to his hard work across the Football Club for such a vast amount of time.

I can speak for myself and everyone that works at Havant and Waterlooville Football Club that Ross was a great character around the place and we wish him the best for whatever comes next”

All of us at the club wish to place on record our thanks to Ross for his commitment and dedication over his time with the Hawks and we wish him the best for the future.
