Aston, 18, came through the academy set-up at Portsmouth FC where he made his First Team debut in the Bristol Street Motors Trophy in a 5-1 victory over Gillingham FC in October 2023. Aston was awarded the accolade of Academy Player of the Year at Portsmouth at the end of their 2023/24 season. Mitchell played his youth football with AFC Portchester and now links up with his former coach in Hawks Head Coach Shaun North.
