Havant and Waterlooville Football Club can now confirm that Jake McCarthy will depart the club by Mutual Consent

McCarthy, 28, joined the Hawks in 2021 from then National League Premier side Weymouth. After McCarthy made the switch to the Hawks, he made well over 100 appearances during his time in Hampshire across a range of positions, showing his versatility, and has popped up with goals throughout his 3 Seasons as a Hawk. Jake has also spent large parts of 23/24 Captaining the club having also had a period as Vice-Captain where he has worn his heart on his sleeve and led the team with pride.

Having led from the back, the midfield or even in attack, McCarthy has displayed his ability throughout his time with the club and will now start a new chapter in his footballing career.
