A Table View:
Hanwell Town currently sits in 9th place, 9 points and 3 positions behind The Hawks. Our hosts this weekend are currently unbeaten this calendar year with their last loss being on Boxing Day against Chertsey Town.
In the Reverse:
In our previous league meeting, The Hawks came out on top, defeating Hanwell Town 5-2 at Westleigh Park. A brace from both Ryan Seager and Harvey Bradbury plus a goal on the hour mark from McNerney ensured the points back in October.
Key People:
Manager – Chris Moore: Hanwell Town gaffer Chris Moore has been in charge of the club since 2018. In his playing career he played for teams such as Dagenham & Redbridge, Brentford, Chelmsford City and Wealdstone. Since taking charge back in 2018, Moore has led his side to promotion in the 2021/22 season to the Southern Premier League.
Captain – Sam Beasant: Goalkeeper Sam Beasant was named club captain for the 2024/25 season. The experienced shot stopper has played for many teams in his long career including Stevenage, Cambridge United, Woking and Beaconsfield Town with Beasant leaving the latter to join The Geordies in October 2023.
Main Threat – Jordan Edwards: Attacker Jordan Edwards has found the net 22 times so far this season in all competitions. He joined Hanwell Town from last seasons league champions Chesham United in which he played an important role. In our previous encounter in October Edwards scored against The Hawks.
