Following our 3-1 victory against Marlow, we caught up with Ryan Seager to speak on the win!
“The most important thing today was to win, pleased to get the hat-trick as they don’t come around often. It’s my second this season so I’m really happy with that. The boys dug deep especially when they [Marlow] equalised, we only had around 10 minutes left and we knew we needed to win today and we did that towards the end.”
“As long as you’re getting chances I don’t mind if I miss them sometimes especially when you get three today. A big win for the run-in. We’ve just got to focus on us, we know we need to go and win the next 5 games and that’s the mentality of the group today. We knew before today what we needed to do and everyone was on the same page. We came together as a group, even when they equalised and we had this feeling that something was going to come and like I say you take a couple of goals in added time to win it!”
“The fans have been unreal all season, especially away from home following us everywhere. We always get a great following and it’s always nice to score in front of them and especially late on to win the game. You just want to repay them for coming out here, spending their hard earned money just like they do to back us at home. Hopefully we can reward them by the end of the season”
