A new Season sparks new beginnings for all and with 3 Hawks players currently playing across the Isthmian League South Central Division and the Wessex Premier Division, we aim to keep you up to date with how the season unfolds for our Hawks.

Mitchell Aston & Harvey Laidlaw

It’s been a busy week for Mitch, Harvey and Baffins Milton Rovers as they travelled to Blackfield and Langley on Tuesday Night before hosting Christchurch on Saturday afternoon.

Aston and Laidlaw both started in Baffins’ 1-0 victory over Blackfield & Langley, with Harvey playing the full 90 but Mitch withdrawn on 65 minutes.

It was a similar story against Christchurch in a 4-1 victory for Baffins. Both our Hawks started the game, with Mitch playing 64 minutes and Harvey 90. Laidlaw managed to bag himself a pair of assists setting up Brett Pitman’s first of three that afternoon and Chad Cornwell’s first of the season.

Preston Woolston

It was just the one game for Preston Woolston and Moneyfields this week with the young central midfielder joining the ‘Moneys’ at the end of the week.

Preston started the game on the sidelines but was introduced on the hour for his debut as Moneyfields found themselves 0-3 down and reduced to 10.

Despite losing the game 1-4, in a Post-Match interview, Preston expressed how it was a “better Second-Half from the lads” and how he’s enjoying being at the club already.
