Following the conclusion of our 2024/25 Southern League Premier Division South campaign, Havant and Waterlooville Football Club can now confirm it’s Retained List in full ahead of the start of 2025/26.
The Hawks have agreed new deals with Ben Dudzinski, Brendan Willson, Ryan Seager, Leon Maloney, Mitchell Aston, Josh Dockerill and Harvey Laidlaw all of whom have been announced already. We remain in negotiations with Reuben Austin, Nigel Atangana, Joe McNerney, Harvey Bradbury and Seokjae Lee.
As has already been announced, Devante Stanley and Callum Kealy will be departing the club following the expiration of their existing deals with the Hawks. Devante Stanley has since been unveiled as a Hemel Hempstead Town player as he returns to Hertfordshire, we wish him the best in his next challenge. Callum Kealy’s departure is linked to his return to his home in Australia and we also wish him the best for his next venture. In addition to the two players already announced as departing, Kaya Tshaka and Amadou Jallow will also be leaving the Hawks.
Also departing following their time with the club are our three loan players as they return to their parent clubs. Lorenz Ferdinand (Brighton & Hove Albion), Reuben Swann (Portsmouth) and George Milner-Smith (Aldershot Town) have all contributed greatly to our season and we wish them the very best for whatever comes next for each of them.
Alfy Whittingham, Olly Pendlebury and Nana Owusu all remain under contract ahead of the start of next season.
Hawks Head Coach Shaun North spoke on our Retained List saying “I would like to place on record the thanks of myself and everyone at Havant and Waterlooville Football Club to all of the players who have represented the club this past season. Their effort, commitment and dedication to the club this past year has been excellent and it’s been a pleasure to work with them all.
I’m delighted to have been able to reach agreements with a number of the squad to remain with us for another season.
I would like to wish the very best to those departing the club in whatever may come next for them.”
