Havant and Waterlooville Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of, Defender, Harry Kavanagh following his departure from fellow Southern League Premier Division South side Gosport Borough.

Kavanagh, 23, came through the Academy system at Portsmouth where he was handed his first team debut in an EFL Trophy fixture at Fratton Park on 10th November 2020. Whilst with Portsmouth, Harry had time on loan with Bognor Regis Town and Gosport Borough before signing for Gosport on a permanent basis in June 2021. Harry has spent 4 seasons with Gosport but now makes the switch to Westleigh Park ahead of the new season!

Speaking on making the switch to Westleigh Park, Harry commented “I’m happy to get this deal done, from everyone I’ve spoken to and everything I’ve seen this is a great place to be and I’m excited to start this new part of my journey. I can’t wait to get going in Pre-Season and I look forward to seeing all the fans at Westleigh Park.”
