Speaking on joining the Hawks, Ben noted “I’m really excited to join Havant Women ahead of the upcoming season. Steve has created a great environment for the Women’s set-up and you can see it throughout the First and Reserve teams. The club is moving in the right direction in the Women’s game and have set out a really good nucleus for the future. I can’t wait to be a part of it.”
First Team Manager, Steve Marsh, shared his thoughts on Ben joining the Hawks saying “I am extremely pleased to welcome Ben to the club as First Team Coach.
Ben is a very well respected coach within the women’s game and will undoubtedly add strength in depth to our coaching team as we pursue promotion this season.
His knowledge and experience resulted in his services being sought after by many clubs but after our conversations he saw the environment we have created and the ambition the club has for the future and wanted to be a part of the journey which is fantastic news and further emphasises the exciting times ahead for the club.”
