Havant and Waterlooville Football Club is disappointed around the Postponement of our Isuzu FA Trophy Third Round fixture against Woking

Communication earlier this morning from our hosts indicated there were no concerns at that time with the pitch playable and ground safe to host the fixture despite the effects of Storm Darragh overnight.

The rain continued to persist through the morning and the Match Officials travelled to The Laithwaite Community Stadium earlier than scheduled to carry out additional checks. A pitch inspection was carried out at 12pm and the surface deemed unplayable which lead to the Postponement.

We are aware of a number of supporters who had already set off on their journeys and we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused.

As already communicated by our hosts, all purchased tickets will be valid for the rearranged fixture on Tuesday 10th December, 19:45.

Woking FC have also confirmed that as per their ticketing terms and conditions, no refunds are given on any tickets. However, following discussions with staff members of our club, those people who have purchased tickets in the away section are able to apply for a refund given the exceptional circumstance.

  Email your application to the following addresses tickets@wokingfc.co.uk and generalmanager@havantandwaterloovillefc.co.uk by no later than 17:00 on Monday 9th December 2024.
• The email must state the reason for the refund.

Havant and Waterlooville FC would like to make it clear that we are bound by the ticketing terms and conditions of our opponents, but are trying to help our supporters in these exceptional circumstances.
