The Hawks dominated a scrappy first half of football in Wiltshire and scored the two goals that proved decisive in that time.

Leon Maloney added to his Pre-Season tally with an excellent curling effort as he found the top corner with 10 minutes on the clock notching the Hawks ahead. The dominance was built on further as the Hawks continued to control most aspects of the game, truly limiting the opportunities for the hosts.

Dudzinski was called into action and made another stunning low save to deny an equaliser midway through the half. The Hawks shot stopper didn’t have much to do, but he remained alert to prevent the hosts drawing level.

A 50 yard volley from Callum Kealy doubled the Hawks advantage as his excellent strike caught the Manor Farm keeper in ‘no-mans land’ before nestling into the back of the net with 6 remaining of the half.

The second half continued the way the first ended, scrappy and physical with both sides really pushing eachother, which added to the competitiveness of the tie.

The hosts continued to look for balls forward to their target men up top and would look to test the Hawks defensive line with balls into the area but all of which the Hawks dealt with.

As time ticked on, the game opened out as substitutions were made and gameplans shifted. The Hawks looked to create but were unable to find the back of the net.

A fairly uneventful second half was brought to the close as the Hawks final test of Pre-Season was complete, a good win and plenty to build on over the course of the next week for Shaun North and the team ahead of the season opener against Dorchester Town
