The points were shared at The SB Stadium as Havant maintained their unbeaten record in Berkshire as they saw an 5th 1-1 draw of the campaign against Interim Player Manager Alex Pearce’s Bracknell Town side who came into the game off the back of a whirlwind week. Havant looked like they had taken the lead in the first half, the flag was raised to deny the goal. The visitors dominated the tie but Bracknell had chances of their own. Both keepers kept it goalless into the interval, each having to make some key saves. Havant started the second half strongly but Bracknell’s defence was structured and hard to break down. Maloney had a sight of goal that whistled over the bar before Burden sent a teasing ball across the face of goal where it just needed a touch. It took until the last 5 minutes plus stoppage time for the goals to come. Ryan Seager put Havant ahead after coming off the bench. He expertly latched onto a through ball in the area and picked out the bottom corner across goal. It was a goal that had finally broken the Bracknell defences but it didn’t break their spirit as up popped Ethan Burden to equalise in added time and snatch a point from the game. Relief for the Robins to equalise and get something from the game, disappointment and frustration for the Hawks as they let another lead slip late.
